Arizona Workshop

One month after the end of the Arizona workshop I conducted, I'm just getting around to reviewing my own images and those of the students. I'll be featuring some of their great work, and a few of my own shots, in the upcoming days. For now, here's one of my favorites: an old car in front of men's and women's rest room doors. I can't wait to print this and add it to the collection of bathroom shots that decorate the Horizon Photography Workshops Restroom. Location: Jerome, Arizona.

Here's a shot of our group on the steps of an abandoned 1800s railroad station in the remote town of Globe, AZ. The publisher of the local paper, who got us special access to this unique spot--wait till you see some of the shots we produced--took the photo.

ModelsNeeded

Horizon holds many workshops which need models, such as Glamour Workshops (next workshop is on Sunday, Mar. 21st) and Weddings and Nudes. This is paid work! Location: Horizon HQ in Chesapeake City in northeast MD. Instructors: Joe Edelman (One of the top guys in the field), and others. Times: Contact Steve at Horizon.

Another model needed...The publisher of my Washington, DC book has decided to reprint the book in softcover. This gives me the opportunity to add/change a few pictures and tweak the book design. I'll be heading down soon to DC to take some new shots. The publisher has asked me to replace the "Woman Jogger" because the heavy-hands date the picture. Anyone who'd like to be in my book, who looks like a jogger, who is willing to wear shorts in March, and who can get to DC, please contact me at Horizon...and perhaps you could email a picture of yourself.

Chestertown Arts League

Tomorrow I go to Chestertown to judge the annual Chestertown Arts League Photography Competition. Chestertown is one of the Eastern Shore's picturesque historic towns. On Friday at 6:00pm I will present the awards and give a slideshow of my local work. All are invited to attend, the event is free at 312 Cannon Street, Chestertown, MD. I am looking forward to seeing some great work and meeting some new folks.
